About Make the Moments Count

The little moments matter.

I’m Steph — a Speech and Language Therapist, Teacher and Mum.

I created Make the Moments Count because I know how busy life with little ones can be. Supporting your child’s communication doesn’t need to mean adding more activities, buying more toys or finding more time in the day.

Some of the best opportunities are already happening.

At the breakfast table. In the car. While getting dressed. At bath time. Reading the same favourite book for the hundredth time.

Make the Moments Count is all about helping you notice those everyday opportunities and make the most of them.

The routine cards were created to give parents simple, practical ideas they can use during routines they’re already doing — without complicated preparation or adding another thing to your to-do list.

Created with parents in mind

I wanted these resources to feel easy to pick up, easy to use and genuinely useful in everyday family life.

No perfect playroom required.
No elaborate activities.
Just simple ideas, little moments and lots of opportunities for connection and communication.

Because sometimes, the smallest moments can make the biggest difference.
